This is my third year living in Ireland. During my MSc programme, our class was full of international students who are from various background and expertise in different areas, so there were many things I could learn from them apart from the academic knowledge.

People in Ireland are very nice to each other regardless of your nationality. Ireland is also a very friendly place where welcomes immigrants with critical skills, such as IT related skills. Many popular IT companies, including Google, Facebook and Amazon, have established their headquarters in Ireland. I am glad that I have the opportunity of working here. Although Ireland is not a common choice for Hong Kong students to pursure their study, here is a very good alternative when you are considering studying or working.

If you are fond of natural landscapes, that will be definitely a bonus for staying here!
