Trinity College Dublin Walton Club STEM Summer Programme (Age 14-17)
STEM refers to an educational model that combines Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. In recent years, it has become increasingly popular, and many schools are now equipped with relevant educational resources. They incorporate STEM elements into both classroom and extracurricular activities to cultivate students’ knowledge and skills in science, allowing for diverse development that aligns with the future needs of society.

Programme Content
Students participating in this STEM summer programme will have the opportunity to expand their scientific vocabulary and enhance their problem-solving and critical thinking skills. They will team up with STEM experts to engage in activities such as designing mathematical functions, constructing microcontroller projects, and exploring Newton’s laws of motion. The STEM programme is collaborating with the renowned Trinity Walton Club, aimed at helping students improve their STEM knowledge and skills while also enhancing their English proficiency.
Accommodation Option 1: Trinity Hall Student Apartment
Students will stay at Trinity Hall, the official student accommodation of Trinity College Dublin, located in the peaceful residential area of Dartry, Dublin. The accommodation offers single or double rooms with private bathrooms, shared recreational spaces, spacious study rooms, a 24-hour laundry facility, a convenience store, free Wi-Fi, and 24-hour security services. The modern dining hall provides a variety of hot and cold meals daily

The course will take place at Trinity College Dublin Trinity Walton STEM, named after Ernest Walton, the first Nobel Prize winner in science from Ireland (October 6, 1903 – June 25, 1995). This club is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) club at Trinity College Dublin, where students can interact and engage with like-minded individuals and role models in the STEM field.
Trinity College Dublin (TCD), established in 1592, is the oldest and most prestigious university in Ireland, located in the heart of Dublin. TCD is renowned for its rich history, outstanding academic achievements, and vibrant campus life. Accommodation Option 2: Host Family
Staying with a host family allows you to enhance your language skills in a natural daily context and is highly favored by students. The host family experience is one of the best ways for students to experience the world-renowned Irish hospitality and explore the lifestyle and culture of Ireland.
Students will share a twin room with another student, and each host family will accommodate two to three students. The host families will provide full board accommodation, including breakfast and dinner, and will also prepare packed lunches for students to take to school.
